Chintan Shah
I am an electronics engineer from Mumbai University and hold an MBA from IIM Indore, with over 15 years of experience in capital markets. My career began as a crude oil trader for a hedge fund, after which I transitioned to roles in investment banking and consulting, specializing in financial and risk modeling. Eventually, I moved into equity research, gaining extensive experience with major proprietary trading desks, investment banks, and consulting firms. Currently, I serve as a fundamental research analyst at a buy-side investment fund.
My expertise spans capital markets, derivatives, and their pricing. My background in trading, risk management, and financial modeling has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and risks inherent in markets and derivative products. In my current role in equity research, I analyze companies holistically, leveraging my deep knowledge of the businesses I cover to understand their inherent strengths and market positions.
I am also an avid reader and enjoy coding. Additionally, I have delivered lectures on global financial markets at various colleges and universities, sharing my knowledge and experience with students.
