LatentView acquisition of Decision point analytics

chintan, November 22, 2024November 22, 2024

LatentView Analytics, a leading global digital analytics consulting company, recently completed the acquisition of a 70% stake in Decision Point Analytics. This strategic move aims to enhance LatentView’s capabilities in Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and AI-powered business transformation solutions, particularly within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. Decision Point Analytics, established in 2012, specializes in areas like demand forecasting, pricing analytics, and marketing mix models, and is recognized for its innovative GenAI-powered solutions like BeagleGPT, a conversational analytics platform

The acquisition leverages Decision Point’s expertise to expand LatentView’s market presence in North America and Europe, unlocking synergies and enhancing the adoption of advanced analytics among Fortune 500 companies. It also aligns with LatentView’s growth strategy, utilizing funds raised during its IPO to bolster its focus on the CPG vertical, which is expected to yield significant revenue and cost synergies.

Further details about LatentView acquisition of Decision point analytics

Decision Point’s FY24 revenue is ~$12.8m, growing at ~50-60% CAGR. The company grew 19% in FY24, with 30% EBITDA margin. This implies LatentView who acquired 70% stake for $39 Million; paid around 4 to 5 times sales to acquire the company. The acquisition if leveraged well can lead to long term synergies and strengthen the go to market strategy of LatentView in CPG vertical.
